The quality of our environment determines the quality of our future. This is why Lamifil pursues a policy of continuous environmental improvement. A task of invaluable significance, for which we have appointed an environmental coordinator who reports to the Managing Director. Lamifil not only complies with all legal requirements but has also elaborated an environmental plan that takes into account of the viability of the company and the quality of life of its employees and neighbors.
Already in 1992 we launched an orientational soil survey – long before this became a legal requirement (1995) – and implemented a proactive environmental policy. In other words, Lamifil was ready to undertake voluntary action well before mandatory measures were imposed by the government. Thus, the soil decontamination project was started up. Walkthroughs and campaigns for good household are conducted at regular intervals. In this way, safety and environment become permanent topics of debate on the shop floor and the involvement of all employees is ensured.
