For certain applications the surface finish of the wire is a very critical parameter. For this purpose, Lamifil has developed a special shaving process that removes a thin layer of metal from the wire. This operation reduces surface defects, thus creating a high quality product suitable for fine-drawing up to 0,05 mm or for metal-plating.
We can offer the shaved wire both in copper as in copper alloys, according to the international standards or customer specifications. The packaging for this shaved wire can be either on compact coils or on wooden reels.
