Key Account Manager

Lamifil NV is currently seeking a Key Account Manager for our copper products division, and we are looking for someone with a “can do” attitude to join our team. As the Key Account Manager, you will represent our copper portfolio for our copper specialty business worldwide

We design, manufacture, and supply high-quality products for various global markets, including copper alloy wires for automotive, electronics, and aviation cables, copper and copper alloy wires and conductors for railway electrification, overhead conductors for electricity transmission and distribution, aluminum conductors used as power cable cores, and aluminum alloy wires for mechanical applications such as tubes, clips and fasteners.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will collaborate with your colleagues to drive sales of our complete copper portfolio, encompassing both railway and copper specialties. Operating within well-defined profitability boundaries, you will work independently to achieve our business targets. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building professional relationships with key individuals at existing customers to maintain recurring sales and identify potential new opportunities.
  • Identifying new markets and customers for our existing products, aligning with our company objectives.
  • Timely response to client inquiries, including offers, price calculations, technical requests, feedback on tests and developments, technical specifications, complaint requests, and more. You will handle project-related offers, frame agreements, and one-off quotes.
  • Coordinating with colleagues from technical support, R&D, production, and other departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Meeting mutually agreed upon targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, we require:

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in an international B2B technical sales environment.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Dutch and English, with knowledge of French/German or any other language being a plus.
  • An engineering background or relevant experience will be considered advantageous.
  • Experience working with copper, aluminum, or other metals is considered a plus.
