Lamifil receives award for Best Belgian Sustainability Report

At the 24th edition of the Belgian Awards for Sustainability Reports (BAS), Lamifil received the award for Best Belgian Sustainability Report 2025 in the category ‘Large organisation not in the scope of CSRD’.

Out of +30 reports assessed in that category, Lamifil stood out, according to the jury, for its “clear and well-structured sustainability report that is easy to read and adopts a mature communication style. The report demonstrates strong stakeholder engagement, explicit integration of governance and due diligence into business operations, and a transparent approach that enhances credibility and trust.” The BAS are organized annually by the Instituut van de Bedrijfsrevisoren – Institut des Réviseurs d’Entreprises.

“We are grateful for and humbled by this recognition for our efforts to grow sustainably and embedding environmental, social and governance principles into our business,” said Filip Goris, CEO of Lamifil. “Since our first sustainability report in 2021, we have grown every year in this important journey, learning that becoming more sustainable is only possible by joining forces with all of our stakeholders.”

Lamifil’s ESG reporting outlines its commitment to innovation and the energy transition through the development of advanced copper and aluminum alloy products that help its customers to enhance the performance, processability and durability of their applications.

The report is anchored in a robust strategy consisting of four pillars: connecting with the future, with our people, to the planet and to society, each linking to concrete targets, policies and actions. This framework guides Lamifil in its continuous efforts to create innovative products, reduce its environmental footprint, improve employee well-being and safety, and maintain ethical business practices and community engagement.
