Stranding is the process of bundling single wires to form a larger conductor. It is typically used to produce cables that need to be both flexible and strong, like automotive cables.

To ensure product quality and efficient production, cable producers need to address several challenges, including cable composition, positioning of the wires, set up times and the use of adequate materials.

For applications that require stranding, Lamifil provides drawn wire or wire rod to be drawn and stranded by our customers.
