Drawing is a cold process used to produce round or sector shaped wires or specially designed profiles. It is, amongst others, commonly used to manufacture electrical wires and cables and other products that benefit from excellent mechanical characteristics.

In order to deliver high-end products, manufacturers drawing wires need to address several challenges, including wire breaks, die wear, surface quality and diameter variations.

We deliver our own high-quality rods and drawn wires that can be drawn further to obtain very thin wires. As we do our own casting and perform intensive quality control,wire quality is tailored and optimised, resulting in less breaks, a reduced number of set ups and therefore an increased production.
