Looking back at a successful 2022 Wire edition

Presenting over one thousand exhibitors from 51 countries, Wire 2022 was the long-awaited European wire and cable industry event to be at this year. And so was Lamifil, with an attractive booth showcasing its innovative copper and aluminum-based alloy wire products. This year’s edition – which took place from June 20-24 in in Düsseldorf, Germany – proved to be a very energizing and rewarding one.

Copper alloy wires for critical applications

At Wire, our fine copper alloy wires – including our CuCrZr or ‘PowerFil’ and CuCrAgSi alloys – were on display. These are used for critical applications in aerospace, medical, automotive, robotics and other industries where space, weight and conductivity are key.

Both for visitors interested in our copper and aluminum alloy products, stability of the casting quality, surface purity as well as local sourcing and sustainability are high on the agenda.”

High demand for aluminum alloys wires and profiles

The interest for our aluminum alloy wires and profiles was no less than overwhelming at the trade fair. Available in a diverse range of alloys, shapes and diameters on coil, our products are used for a variety of electrical and mechanical applications.
