Aluminum Speciality Wires

Rolled, drawn and extruded aluminum alloy wires and profiles on coil, tailored to optimize your manufacturing processes and end products.

OUR DIFFERENCE IS YOUR BENEFIT

Using state-of-the art continuous melting and casting facilities, Lamifil produces aluminum wire products in a diverse range of alloys, shapes and diameters on coil for electrical and mechanical applications. Based on high-quality seamless wire rod of up to 44mm, we flexibly manufacture tailor-made products for extrusion, wire drawing, cold forming or stranding processes. Our products’ homogenous material properties as well as our continuous and optimized production process enable manufacturers to decrease production downtime, eliminate losses and improve efficiency.

Taking wire rod production to the next level

In 2021, we renewed our aluminium melting furnaces completely. By adopting an automated and eco-efficient production process for aluminium and leveraging state-of-the-art facilities, we have taken our wire rod production to the next level. But don’t just take our word for it. You can witness it first-hand in our video that takes you behind the scenes of our melting and casting facilities and shows how Lamifil produces wire rod. >> WATCH THE VIDEO

How a large diameter wire makes a difference

Wire diameter and length can be instrumental in optimizing your cold or hot forming process and logistics. A bigger wire diameter facilitates a bigger end product, easier near net shape or less forming steps. Read more>>

Advantages of aluminum alloy profile wires

Conform extrusion or drawing allows for seamless production of long lengths of profile aluminum wire on coil, as an alternative for billet extrusion. This allows manufacturers to realize longer production runs, while reducing downtime and consequently saving resources.  Read more>>

Tailored properties for cold forming application

The process enhancements in our new casting facilities offer a number of important advantages for cold forming applications such as uniform mechanical properties and minimized breakage risks.  Discover more>>
